Recurring purchases are on the roadmap and are not yet available. This page describes the planned behavior, and the final shape may change before release.
The planned flow
- The agent quotes a single delivery so the user sees a real price before approving
- The user approves a standing mandate once. The approval fixes the merchant, the spending ceiling, the charge limit, and the cycle: weekly, monthly, or yearly
- Each cycle re-prices the order and charges it under the standing approval, with no further interaction as long as the total stays within the approved ceiling
- A total above the ceiling fails the charge, and continuing requires a fresh approval
The controls the user keeps
Pause
The user pauses the mandate at any time and charges stop
Resume
The user resumes the mandate and later cycles charge under the same approval
Cancel
The user cancels the mandate and no further cycle can charge
A worked example
The user asks the agent to order Acana Adult dog food from petmart.com every week. The first delivery is quoted at USD 71.03 including all charges. One approval creates a weekly mandate with a spending ceiling and a charge limit. Every later delivery is re-priced and charged under that approval until the mandate is exhausted or the user cancels it.Next steps
