# FAQ

> Coverage, the plan, spending control and the questions prospects raise in evaluations

<Note>
  Airport Lounge Access is coming soon and is not currently available through the Reap API.
</Note>

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How does a cardholder get into the lounge?">
    Clients must generate the QR code using the provided raw QR payload and render it in their app. The QR code or barcode is then scanned at the lounge reception.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Which lounges can cardholders visit?">
    Passes admit cardholders to airport lounges in the Priority Pass network. Your Reap team shares the lounge directory and plan coverage during onboarding.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What plans are available?">
    One plan is available today. LOUNGE\_PP\_1PA is a single use pass in the form of QR code that covers one lounge visit and stays valid for 365 days from issuance.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Where can the lounge pass be used?">
    The lounge pass can only be used at participating lounges within the Priority Pass network. The name on the pass must match the boarding pass name exactly for access.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I create a lounge pass for someone else?">
    Yes. A lounge pass can be created for another traveller. The name provided when creating the pass must exactly match the name shown on the boarding pass.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How is lounge pass redemption controlled?">
    The prepaid pool is the cap. Every purchase passes an explicit approval before stock is loaded, every issuance draws the pool down by exactly one, counters never go negative and a failed creation never consumes stock.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens when a pass is used?">
    The lounge records the visit and the pass turns redeemed. A redeemed pass is complete, so issue a new pass from your inventory when the cardholder needs another visit.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens to passes when a card is blocked, frozen, replaced or deleted?">
    Block and freeze disable the passes on that card. Unfreezing restores the passes when the cardholder or client unfreezes the card, while unblocking a blocked card requires Reap support. Delete and replace expire the passes permanently. Only the target card is affected, and nothing changes if the card operation fails. The [lifecycle page](/airport-lounge-access/lifecycle-and-events) maps every transition.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How current is visit data?">
    Reap retrieves the lounge network report once a day and updates pass usage and visit records from it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do we get access?">
    Airport Lounge Access is switched on per business and requests made before enablement are rejected. Ask your Reap contact to enable the capability during onboarding.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is lounge access the only benefit this flow supports?">
    The flow is built around a general reward model, with a reward type and a plan on every request. Airport lounge access is the first benefit available through it.
